The inaugural Bluebird In The Boro concert series was a big hit in 2014, and it’s coming back March 2 to 4, 2015! This second annual event will bring the Bluebird Cafe experience to Rutherford County with a dozen hit songwriters coming together to support nonprofit Alive Hospice. Tickets can be purchased online at www.AliveHospice.org/boro.
The 2nd Annual Bluebird In The Boro concert series will be held at Mayday Brewery again this year and is presented by Reeves-Sain and Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital with support from additional sponsors.
True to the Bluebird Cafe experience, each evening will feature four songwriters “in the round” (in a circle at the center of the room with the audience seated around them). Tickets are $100 and will include dinner from Five Senses, a Murfreesboro favorite. Proceeds will support the building of Alive Hospice’s services in Rutherford County.
The 2nd Annual Bluebird in the Boro concert series will feature:
Monday, March 2 at 6 p.m.: Marshall Altman, Dylan Altman, Matt Warren, Marla Cannon
Tuesday, March 3 at 6 p.m.: Jeff Cohen, James Slater, Caitlyn Smith, Phil Barton
Wednesday, March 4 at 6 p.m.: Tim James, Dan Couch, Phil O’Donnell, Kendell Marvel
The concert series will also include something new this year: a silent auction featuring an acoustic guitar signed by each of the event’s participating songwriters. The instrument was donated by Taylor Guitars, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of premium acoustic and electric guitars, in support of Alive Hospice.
