Last week, Middle Tennessee experienced severe weather causing tornado warnings to be issued for all of Nashville. The storms brought with them heavy rain and flash flooding. While The Bluebird Cafe was not directly affected and our venue and staff remain safe, several of our neighbors within our building have experienced flooding causing our water heater and internet service to sustain damage.
We’re happy to have an update to share with you after a long couple of days! Our internet service has been restored allowing us to access our point of sale systems again. We’ve also met with plumbers and contractors to address our hot water heater that currently remains out of service. Because we still do not have water in the building, we are cancelling all shows through Wednesday, April 23rd. If you’ve been on our website throughout the week, you may have seen on-sale times for upcoming shows changing to avoid a preemptive cancellation, but we can now confirm that these shows will not be going on sale. Continue to keep an eye on upcoming on-sales as we navigate ongoing repairs. We appreciate your continued support and hope to be sharing another positive update with an official re-opening date soon!
If you’re missing live music, come join us at our upcoming off-site shows:
