Abram Dean

From a small town on the outskirts of Richmond, Virginia, Abram Dean started writing songs at the age of twelve, having no idea songwriting could potentially be a career choice. At this point his passion for music started to rise above his passion for sports. At the age of 17, his talents led him to Los Angeles where within six months he was sitting in front of one of the music industry’s top publishers, Katie Vinten at Warner Chappell. Abram left the Warner Chappell building that day with a publishing contract in his email inbox. For the next four years, Abram fell in love with songwriting while working with some of the industry’s best and writing songs with some of the top artists in mind. He eventually landed his first cut with Andy Grammer on Andy’s Magazines or Novels album. In 2015 Abram took a week-long writing trip to Nashville, TN. Being back east instantly felt like home. He quickly fell in love with Nashville, so much so, three days into his trip the decision was made that he’d be moving to Nashville within the month. Since moving to Nashville, Abram has continued to garner attention with his strong sense of lyric and distinct melodies. His ability to write both pop & country music make him one of the most versatile writers in town.
