From the age of five, Autumn McEntire had a hairbrush microphone in hand and a dream in her heart. An Oklahoma native and a long-time Tennessee resident, Autumn is poised to make a name for herself in the industry with a range of songs that are raw yet polished and truly entertain the listener by appealing to an emotion.
As a songwriter, her music is as nostalgic as is it is relatable. In her song “Radioland,” written with and recorded by Ashley McBryde, she references that hairbrush microphone that so many people are familiar with from their youth. Autumn honed her skillset by working with and learning from some of Music Row’s top hitmakers including Tommy Lee James, Marcus Hummon, and Liz Hengber.
A songwriting style and personality as unique as the words she writes, her lyrical ability shines in songs such as Matt Stell’s “Better I Drink” (2019), Walker County’s “The Hamptons” (2019), and her legendary aunt Reba McEntire’s “Stronger Than The Truth” (2019). She has secured cuts from up-and-coming artists such as Meghan Patrick, Stephanie Quayle, Lacy Cavalier, Hannah Blaylock and Mae Estes.
Autumn’s career as an artist, although short-lived, began when she signed her first publishing deal upon college graduation. As an artist, she had two independent releases and a once-in-a-lifetime performance at the historic Ryman Auditorium.
Autumn graduated from Belmont University with a degree in music business. She currently lives in Franklin, TN, with her husband and their two children and enjoys cooking in her spare time.
