Chris Gantry

Chris Gantry began playing music when he was eleven years old and hasn’t stopped a day since. He is the winner of four BMI awards and is a two-time winner of the prestigious BMI Million-Air Award for his hit song Dreams of the Everyday Housewife recorded by Glen Campbell. Chris has released fourteen albums during his long and illustrious career, including 2024’s The Outlaw Bible. He has written over 100 songs recorded by others including Reba McIntyre, Roy Clark, Johnny Cash and Gary Puckett.

Chris has collaborated with greats, such as Kris Kristofferson, Shel Silverstein and Eddie Rabbit and won the Tennessee Williams Playwriting Contest. Also an author, he has penned seven books including his autobiography, Gypsy Dreamers in the Alley, and four children’s books.

Also known for his musicianship, Chris has been chosen as brand ambassador for Hohner Harmonicas, Klos Guitars and Curt Mangan Guitar Strings.
