She spent many years touring the country with her dad, Brian and brother Aaron in their band called The Henningsens, opening for artists such as Brad Paisley, Randy Travis, Alan Jackson, just to name a few. In December 2012 they released their debut single, “American Beautiful” which reached top 20 in a just a matter of weeks. The trio also wrote Billy Curringtons single “Drinking Town With A Football Problem”. They released a full length record in 2016 called “Worlds On Fire”. Clara eventually set out as a solo artist and writer. During that time she co-wrote the pop song “I Love Myself” by Ciara featuring Macklemore. She took a few years hiatus from Nashville and moved to Florida with her husband and children in late 2019. Then one day she got a call with an opportunity that brought her back to the Music City to continue writing . She is currently recording her debut album with longtime friend and producer, Cactus Moser, which will be released in 2024.
