Gunnar Latham was born into a church going and country music loving family in San Marcos, Texas. Growing up around horses and cattle most of his life, Gunnar’s first love was rodeo. He participated in steer wrestling, team roping and tie down in high school, college and even at a professional level. Gunnar also discovered a passion for performing and singing at an early age. First in his father’s church, then around the horse trailers after rodeos, and eventually in the honky-tonks of central Texas.

With eyes on a rodeo dream and a heart full of music. Gunnar eventually found himself stuck between the two, and in late 2019 Gunnar decided to go all in on a music career. He dedicated himself to honing his skills as a writer and performer and his work has been paying off with a growing Texas fan base and the signing of his first major publishing deal with Major Bob Music, the future looks bright for this Texas cowboy.

These days Gunnar splits time between his home in Texas with his beautiful wife Cameron and first son Cash, and making writing trips to Nashville.
