EMG songwriter Johnny Dailey has recently been working with producer Frank Liddell (Miranda Lambert, Chris Knight, David Nail) to record a batch of songs for an upcoming project he’s calling Name on My Shirt. It’s a rebirth for the singer, songwriter, and guitarist, whose first stab at Nashville success just didn’t ring true to him. The songs Johnny was cutting when he first came to town didn’t feel real or lived-in, and after a break from music, he decided to try again by leaning hard into some challenging events that nearly derailed his entire life. Co-writers on the upcoming project include Allen Shamblin, Billy Montana, Mando Saenz, and Austin Cunningham, and Johnny's frequent co-writers also include Scooter Carusoe, Tom Douglas, Kyle Schlienger, and Daymon Osborn.
