Joshua Fletcher was born in Macon, Georgia - which is a town that has an Otis Redding museum and a pretty good hot dog place. He grew up just outside of Atlanta where he spent most of his time in his bedroom learning MXPX songs on a purple Epiphone SG. He started a band in high school but began playing shows by himself when the guitar player decided to go rollerblading instead of coming to practice. Today Joshua Fletcher lives in Atlanta with his family, where he is trying and mostly failing to teach his daughter to play guitar. His latest record, “Ready, Aim,” is pretty good.
To the best of his knowledge, the guitarist doesn’t rollerblade anymore.
