Born and raised in Houston, Texas, Meagan Allen's love of music began in the shape of a violin at age four. Watered and fed by a diverse range of sounds (from George Straight to Billie Holiday), this love soon found its manifestation in music composition. In her fourteenth year, she began to perform at local venues in her hometown​.

In 2017, under the guidance of Christian rock sensation and mentor Sarah Kelly, Meagan recorded and released her debut album, entitled Critical Emotion, which culminated in a headlining show at Houston venue Dosey Doe. "That was my first taste of the industry," Meagan recalls, "I think that was the first time the magic of performing felt more like a reality than just a dream."

​After graduating high school, Meagan moved to Nashville to pursue a career in artistry, earning a degree in songwriting at Belmont University in May 2021. She continues to write and perform fervently, chasing the dream that underlies her journey thus far and developing a sound uniquely her own.
