Morgan Johnston

Growing up on the family farm on Cape Cod, Massachusetts, Morgan's passion for song writing and performing was evident early on, showcasing her ability at shows around town. In 2016 Morgan made the bold decision to take her talents to the big stage of Nashville and really hit the ground running, honing her craft at writers rounds across the city and landing major support slots with names such as Sawyer Brown and Madison Beer. As a country-pop artist Morgan has taken inspiration from the likes of Kelsea Ballerini, Kacey Musgraves, Lori McKenna and Maren Morris, blending that influence with her own raw and vulnerable song writing, which is delivered through heartfelt vocals to make a lasting impactful connection with her audience.

​Morgan saw enormous success in 2018 with the release of her debut single "Good Guy", receiving over 650,000 streams on Spotify alone. Further singles over the next 3 years saw Morgan land on major Spotify editorial playlists such as New Boots and Wild Country as well as being named in the ASCAP GPS Project class of 2020. Morgan released her eagerly anticipated debut EP "There's No Going Back", in October of 2022, releases from this project caught the attention of major outlets seeing her featured by People and "Taste of Country, amongst others. A hit on U.S radio, singles appeared on platforms such as the "Nights with Elaina Show", 101.7 The Bull and Country 102.5 Boston, also receiving official adds to country radio with Cape Country 104. Recognized internationally, Morgan was named as a Spotlight Artist, and a One To Watch by the biggest country station in the U.K, Absolute Radio Country.

"Like It's His Job", the most recent release of Morgan's in January of 2023, saw her become a viral sensation on social media with over 1.8M views on a single TikTok video and 3.5M on an Instagram reel, leading to huge growth in her followers across the platforms. Morgan has continued to build up an impressive live show pedigree, supporting Lainey Wilson, performing a hometown show at the Cape Cod Melody Tent in support of Dustin Lynch and appearing regularly at the top writers round in Nashville as part of the Song Suffragettes, as well as occasionally hosting it.

With an unparalleled passion for what she does coupled with a rapidly growing audience, Morgan has the biggest names in the industry watching her closely. She is on an upward trajectory towards becoming a household name and true to her she will do it writing authentic music that her fans can relate to.
