Artists

Caroline Dare

Caroline Dare is a 22 year old Nashville, TN based pop songwriter/artist, mental health advocate, and certified cat mom.  Originally from North Carolina, Caroline made the permanent move to Nashville at age 18 after travelling back and forth from her home state since the age of 12.  During those early years, she focused on her songwriting, guitar, performance, and vocal skills to build a strong foundation for the future.  She also started posting her original songs on social media at an early age which has now grown into a loyal organic fanbase.

Caroline is immersed in the Nashville songwriting community and hosts early shows at the Bluebird Café and frequent rounds at The Listening Room Café.  She is also an active member with ASCAP who nominated her for the Peggy Lee Songwriter Award which recognizes songwriters who demonstrate intelligent use of language, talent, and career potential.  Her recent projects have been produced with hitmaker Nick Wheeler of The All-American Rejects (“Gives You Hell, “Dirty Little Secret”) at the helm who says of Caroline, “Caroline is a master of melody, and after working with her for almost 4 years now, I can honestly say that she puts in the work, and it shows in her growth as a songwriter and a storyteller.”

Originally identified by the Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI) as “One To Watch” for a solo composition at age 11, she garnered two song nominations at the 2022 NSAI Member Awards with “Heart Problem” winning the song feedback category top prize. She also cracked the NSAI Top 40 three times in the last year.

As for the future, Caroline is looking forward to displaying her artistry and bringing her infectious melodies, hooks, and harmonies to the fans who have supported her over the years in addition to those who will be discovering her music for the first time.

YOUTHYEAR

YOUTHYEAR is the moniker of Eric Paquette, a Nashville-based artist, songwriter, and producer hailing from Western Massachusetts. Having written and played his first songs and shows by the time he was 12, the DIY punk rock attitude has been with Eric since the start. Skate parks, VFW’s, and basement shows turned into club shows, tours, SXSW, and sharing the stage with acts such as The 1975, The Misfits, Jimmy Eat World, My Chemical Romance, Imagine Dragons, and Panic! At The Disco among others. Just like he taught himself how to write songs at an early age, Eric learned how to record and produce music on his own and uses that skill to collaborate with other artists. Alongside close writing and production partner Carlo Colasacco (Shinedown), the two co-wrote and co-produced the new album from iconic 90s band Lit, whose multi-platinum single “My Own Worst Enemy” is still in iHeart radio's top 10 rock songs. Tastes Like Gold, released in June, features American Authors, Butch Walker, and Adrian Young of No Doubt. Loudwire calls the sound as “finding a good marriage between the classic sound of 1999 with a modern production vibe”. Having been heavily inspired by ‘90s rock, YOUTHYEAR’s upcoming debut EP is exactly that: a collection of post-party/post-relationship songs with elements of nü-school pop-punk, 90s nostalgia, hip-hop, and alt rock. It all started with a song called “Wake Up”, written about self-sabotage and struggling with sobriety. With the juxtaposition of a happy melody blended with grungey guitars and a Dr. Dre style beat, it feels so much like a party anthem, you might miss the darker undertones. Carlo and Eric wrote and produced the EP and brought on Grammy-nominated producer Pete Nappi (GAYLE, Jonas Brothers, 30 Seconds To Mars, Kesha, 5SOS) for an upcoming single.

Mykyl

Mykyl is an electronic pop artist and producer based in Nashville, TN. Often compared with the likes of Ed Sheeran and Lauv, he brings deep introspective lyrics to fresh, cutting-edge pop productions. Mykyl got his start as an intern for Imagine Dragons in Las Vegas, which he later left to pursue his original music. He released his first single during the pandemic in 2020, and has been putting out a single every month since. His goal with every song is to connect with people emotionally, and he often tackles topics related to mental health and finding hope.
