Singer/Songwriter Mary Hartman has been writing songs since she can remember. Born into a family of 10 children just outside of Motown (Detroit, Michigan) she was influenced by Rock and Roll and Soul. But always present were those good, old Country Songs that she heard growing up from the jukebox in the basement or Up North Michigan where Country Music blared out of small town AM stations. Her Dad dad worked in a Car Factory and her Mom was a Stay at Home Mom. Her Dad played Johnny Cash on the Turntable. Her Mom played The Sound Of Music Soundtrack. She has sung on the stages of The Nashville Palace, Douglas Corner, The Listening Room and The Bluebird among many. You will be drawn in to her story songs as well as upbeat and fun songs as well as the "real life" stuff.
