Chris Clayton is a Contemporary Christian and Worship music producer/songwriter based in the Nashville, TN. A born and raised Texan, Chris and his family moved to the Nashville area in 2016 after signing his first publishing deal but has been working and investing in artists and churches for twenty-five years.  

​Chris is credited as a songwriter and/or producer on projects with a variety of artists including Chris Tomlin, Keith & Kristyn Getty, Selah, Big Daddy Weave, Natalie Layne, Meredith Andrews, Josh Baldwin & Bethany Wohrle from Bethel Music, Darlene Zchech, Shane and Shane, Bridge Worship, Christine D'Clario, CityAlight, and Skye Reedy just to name a few.  Chris has written songs and/or produced records for some the largest churches in America including The Belonging Co., Houston's First Baptist Church, Valley Creek Church, Pinelake Church, and Crossroads Church. In addition, Chris was nominated as a songwriter in 2018 for the Gospel Music Association Canada Covenant Award for Pop Song of the Year.

​Chris resides in the Nashville area with his beautiful and amazing wife Kara, and their five awesome kids. When he is not in the studio you can find him in the back yard pulling together an amazing BBQ feast or hanging out with family and friends.
