Tennessee Songwriters Week 2025

Discover the musical story of Tennessee from the ones who are writing it during Tennessee Songwriters Week (held February 24 - March 1). Over the last month, more than 1,200 songwriters performed at nearly 50 qualifying round venues across the state. Now, select artists will compete at one of seven showcase events for the chance to perform their original music at the iconic Bluebird Cafe in Nashville.

Blue Monday happens every Monday at 9 p.m. here at The Bluebird Cafe. This series features blues music by some of the world's best studio musicians such as Kevin McKendree, Pat O'Connor, Steve Mackey, and Yates McKendree. Guest performs often make appearances. Swifties In The Sky!

Swifties aboard Southwest Airlines flight #1989 on October 17 got the surprise of a lifetime! En route from Nashville to Miami for Taylor Swift's The Eras Tour, fans were treated to a pop-up performance as part of Southwest®’s "Live at 35" series. In collaboration with the Bluebird Cafe, hit songwriter Liz Rose, accompanied by Phil Barton, serenaded the cabin with two beloved songs she co-wrote with Swift!
