Chris LaCorte
Born and raised in Richardson, Texas, Chris LaCorte was immersed in music thanks to his guitar-playing grandfather, who at a young age, provided him with a plethora of musical instruments and recording equipment. He honed his musical skills at his local church, made cassette recordings of his neighborhood band, and began recording and touring with local Christian artist Chris August. After college, Chris moved to Nashville to chase his musical dreams and continued to tour with various artists including Dustin Lynch. At the same time, he began studio session work as a guitar player, working with Christian and Country producers including Ed Cash, David Garcia, Seth Mosely, Casey Brown, Ben Glover and Chris Stevens. Some of his credits include a 2x GRAMMY Award winning project by Mandisa, and No.1 radio singles “Yours” and “Blue Tacoma” by Russell Dickerson. In 2016, LaCorte shifted his focus from touring to writing and producing. In 2020, LaCorte signed a global publishing deal with Hang Your Hat Music, a creative venture with Concord Music Publishing and ACM Songwriter of the Year, Hillary Lindsey.
