Fort Worth native Colton Venner is a storyteller through and through. Since he first picked up a guitar at age 12, he has always been about one thing; the song. Drawing inspiration from the likes of Chris Knight, Johnny Cash, and several Texas Country legends, Colton harnesses an attention to detail that helps a story play out scene by scene for the listener. While sonically, he is influenced by everything across the board from ambient instrumental music to heavy metal.
