Lauren Lucas is a South Carolina native and a proudBelmont University alumna. An Academy of Country Music and Tony Award nominee, you have heard Lauren’s songs on Broadway (Urban Cowboy), TV and film (ABC network, feature films), and on other artist’s projects, such as Danielle Peck, Damien Horne and Risa Binder, to name a few. As a touring artist, Lauren has shared stages with Kenny Chesney, Old Dominion, Blake Shelton, Billy Currington, Maroon 5 and The Bacon Brothers (Kevin & Michael) and many more. She spent nearly three years touring with the all-female harmony band, Farewell Angelina and penned several songs on their latest EP. Lauren has released a string of new singles herself since 2019 and is working on a new collaboration of classic country covers with an album release planned for next year. Most recently, Lauren joined the faculty of the Mike Curb College of Entertainment and Music Business as an Instructor of Songwriting at her alma mater, Belmont University.
