Makenzie Schriner
Makenzie Schriner is a Nashville-based singer-songwriter, and 6th generation fiddle player originally from the small town of Sedalia, Colorado. At 21 days old Makenzie found himself in the arms of Arnold Schwarzenegger on the Universal Pictures set filming “Junior.” He played his first concert with his family band at the age of 9, and by 13, was playing the fiddle, guitar, harmonica, bass, bass, and songwriting.
After graduating High School, Schriner moved to Nashville, Tennessee, where he connected with Brad Paisley's first manager, Jimmy Gilmer, and quickly discovered his niche as a touring musician. In 2016, he played guitar and fiddle for American Idol Alumni, Josh Gracin , until his next opportunity arose with Sony/Arista artist, Carlton Anderson . As a musician, Schriner has played in house bands behind Dustin Lynch, ERNEST, John Carter Cash and Joanne Cash. He has toured with The Swon Brothers, Netflix's Coffey Anderson, Josh Mirenda and Walker County. He has opened for Chris Young , Old Dominion, Charlie Daniels, Jordan Davis, Josh Turner, Scotty McCreery, Cody Johnson, Granger Smith, etc. Schriner has played venues such as Red Rocks Amphitheatre, Whitewater Amphitheater, BancorpSouth Arena, Stagecoach at Coachella, just to name a few. He has recently released “Kiss Another Girl,” “One, Too,” and “Last Man Standing.”
