Mickey Guyton

Mickey Guyton is a four-time GRAMMY®-nominated artist and country music trailblazer whose career has been defined by breaking barriers, inspiring audiences, and delivering unforgettable performances. Named TIME Magazine’s Breakthrough Artist of the Year in 2022 and CMT’s Breakout Artist of the Year in 2021, Guyton has become a powerful voice for inclusion and authenticity in country music.

With her critically acclaimed debut album Remember Her Name, she made history as the first Black artist nominated for Best Country Album and the first Black female solo artist to earn a GRAMMY® nomination in a country category. The album also garnered nominations for Best Country Song and Best Country Solo Performance, cementing her place as one of the genre’s most important and groundbreaking artists.

Guyton’s ability to captivate audiences has been showcased on some of the world’s largest stages. She has delivered stirring performances of the national anthem at Super Bowl LVI and the 2023 World Series, and has graced prestigious platforms including the CMA Awards, ACM Awards, CMT Awards, the ESPYs, Good Morning America, The Today Show, and The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

Guyton has also emerged as a charismatic media presence. She has co-hosted the Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks Special (NBC), the National Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony (CBS), and the 56th Academy of Country Music Awards alongside Keith Urban (CBS), as well as serving as a guest host on The Ellen Show.

In 2024, Guyton released her sophomore album House On Fire, featuring the standout tracks “My Side of the Country” and “Scary Love.” With a career built on talent, perseverance, and purpose, Mickey Guyton continues to shape the future of country music and inspire audiences around the globe, recently placing as the runner-up in Chinese mega-music show The Singer, the first American artist to reach this height.  Mickey released her holiday album, Feels Like Christmas, featuring the festive track “Sugar Cookie” in October 2025 and will appear in Hallmark’s A Grand Ole Opry Christmas film premiering in November.  She’ll also appear in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade.
