Nada Rien is the working name of Vancouver, WA singer-songwriter Casey Black, a Nashville native and son of a Country Music Hall of Fame songwriter, Charlie Black. His work blends Southern songcraft with literary introspection — music for people who like their melodies warm and their existential questions well-worded.

Black began his career in Nashville at 19 as one of the youngest signed staff writers on Music Row. Since then he has released five full-length records, earned national television placements, and been recognized by the International Songwriting Competition.

Performing in intimate listening-room settings, Nada Rien delivers dynamic, emotionally present sets that move easily between stillness and catharsis. His forthcoming sixth LP Cosmic Conflagration was recorded between Vancouver, Washington and Cork, Ireland.
