As Opry staff band pianist since 2014, Randy’s had the opportunity to perform with a wide variety of artists there including Vince Gill, Patty Loveless, Cece Winans, Don Schlitz, Dionne Warwick, Herb Alpert, Lainey Wilson, Michael Buble who are among the thousands of artists he’s backed up. Being Roger Miller’s band leader for 8 years was his initial schooling into the country music world and was quite a memorable education. It was somewhat of a calling card when he moved to Nashville. Prior to that, the business side has taken him to the helm of 2 multi-national music publishing companies – Famous Music and BMG Music Publishing in their Nashville offices working with songwriter luminaries such as Steve Dorff (2018 Songwriter Hall of Fame inductee), Gary Burr (Nashville Songwriter Hall of Fame), Victoria Shaw ("The River" - Garth Brooks) and Hugh Prestwood ("The Song Remembers When" - Trisha Yearwood).
