Singer/songwriter and two-time Kerrville New Folk Finalist, Sonia Lee sings in a pure, sweet voice, reminiscent of Emmy Lou Harris and Alison Krauss.  After performing for years in bands and as a background vocalist from New York to Nashville, she finally moved to Nashville in 1995 to pursue songwriting.
 
Her last CD, Butterfly and 2010's memorable Chance To Start Over,  paint a deeply personal and passionalte portrait of her own journey through addiction, and her path to healing.  Sonia likes to say that "everyone is recovering from SOMEthing".  Anyone who has faced difficult times regardless of the challenge, will find an uplifting message in her songs!  
You can hear Sonia performing at venues around Nashville as well as house concerts, spiritual retreats, treatment facilities, and festivals all over the country.  Her song "No Mistakes" (Butterfly) was cut by award winning bluegrass duo Darin and Brooke Aldridge who will be joining her in the round at The Bluebird Cafe.
