Stephen Babcock

Born into a musical family of 4 kids (including a twin brother), Stephen has always been involved with music. After acquiring a love of songwriting from his father and older brother, Stephen began writing songs as early as 13.

After eight years of writing, touring, and perfecting his craft, Stephen began recording what would become his first project, Said & Done; a mixture of youth and promise that helped start Stephen’s career as a singer-songwriter.

Quickly following the release of Said & Done, Stephen immediately began touring the United States and broadening his musical horizons out on the road. From countless stages across the country to various Nashville writers’ rooms, Stephen has left music fans and industry veterans looking for more. Stephen released the critically acclaimed E.P. Fiction in April 2018. Finding his voice (and some new fans along the way), Stephen’s unique blend of pop and indie folk helped establish him as a favorite of PASTe, Atwood Magazine, Variance Mag, and more.

After spending the last few years on and off the road (opening shows for Ed Sheeran, Izaak Opatz, Canyon City, William Hinson, and Girl Blue to name a few), Stephen released his album, Monroe, in October 2021, and most recently, his album When We Were Kids Ourselves on November 10, 2022. Known by his fans as the “Internet Dad” due to his relatable pop music and consistent fan engagement, it’s only a matter of time before Stephen Babcock is a household name.
