There are 18 tables, 8 bar seats and 8 church pew seats available for reservation. The remaining pew seats for this show are not reserved in advance. These seats are available on a first come/first served basis when doors open.

Ticket reservations at The Bluebird Cafe are an agreement to pay the cover charge and applicable taxes/fees and to meet the $12.00 per seat food and/or drink minimum.

Ticket holders may cancel their reservation for a full refund of the ticket price and applicable tax (excluding ticketing fees) if the cancellation is made at least 48 hours before the scheduled showtime. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the show are non-refundable. To cancel, please email [email protected] or call 615-383-1461. Phone line hours are Monday-Friday, 12-4 pm.

Note: When making reservations, choose the table you would like and then add the number of seats you need to your cart by using the + button. You are NOT reserving an entire table if you choose 1 (by choosing 1, you are reserving 1 seat). We reserve ALL seats at each table. If you are a smaller party at a larger table, you will be seated with guests outside your party.

David G. Smith

Internationally acclaimed Artist-Songwriter David G Smith is an acoustic roots solo performer with a lyric intensive style featuring guitars, resonator, music and a voice that range from dirt-funk to intimate. His music is a blend of Folk, Americana, Country & Blues. David was recently accepted as a Juried Artist with Noel Paul Stookey’s (Peter, Paul & Mary) Music To Life Org. He is a 2008 International Song Competition 1st Place Winner, a Robert Oermann DISCovery Award recipient, and two-time ISC semifinalist. He performs at the prestigious Bluebird Cafe/Nashville where his shows are regularly sold out. David has released 11 albums. Mary Gauthier and Keb Mo make appearances on 4 of them to include a duet with Mary called “Shine”. David has shared the stage with Justin Townes Earle, Ramblin’ Jack Elliot, Kelly Willis + Bruce Robison, 5-time WC Handy Award winner, Rory Block, Rissi Palmer, Buddy Mondlock, Jelly Roll Johnson, Chuck Pyle, Dave Moore, Catfish Keith, Kevin Gordon and many more.  He has five nationwide #1 singles and four nationwide #1 albums to include his latest release, Witness Trees on the Roots Music Report (RMR) Folk & Alt-Folk charts. His single “River Gonna Talk” was a 2023 #1 add on the NACC chart and reached #1 in the nation on Radio Guitar One’s Top 30 Americana Chart. David has been featured in American Songwriter and his songs have appeared on TNT, Lifetime Network, Travel Channel, several PBS affiliate shows. He has a string of indie & major-indie song-cuts to include with Rissi Palmer, only the 3rd black female country artist to chart on Billboard, in 2007. Lojo Russo

Lojo Russo has been making music along the muddy waters of the Mississippi since she first picked up a guitar at the age of ten. With a self-taught approach to music Russo has developed a unique understanding of genres and songwriting.  Playing a range of instruments in jam, Celtic, blues and folk bands around the Twin Cities (MN) has continued to define and refine her writing and music style. These days Lojo Russo makes her home in the Quad Cities (IA) where she still lives along the mighty Mississippi writing, creating, and performing her free-spirited blend of rhythm & roots at home, around the Midwest, and the country.

Doug Rees

Arriving in Nashville with "The class of 2000” Doug continues honing his songwriting skills fusing folk, country, blues and pop influences into his own unique style. Now based out of Missouri, he continues to write and record while traveling the house concert and listening room circuits around the country. "You can't put genre' next to Doug's name”. There is a quote on Doug’s website that reads: "Many of his songs have this spirit flowing through them - the spirit of friendship, love, and roots that run deep.” This man is one of the finest songwriters in Nashville…and beyond….that you’ll ever have the pleasure of listening to.

Carol Montag

Performing singer/songwriter Carol Montag has been described by folk music legend Tom Paxton as a "genuine discovery" and "the best thing to come out of Iowa since Bonnie Koloc." Her influences include Joni Mitchell, Judy Collins, Eva Cassidy, Julie Andrews, James Taylor and many others. She has recorded four solo albums and two Christmas CDs. She is due to release her new album titled "Strange Ballet" in early 2025. Carol has opened for or shared the stage with Arlo Guthrie, Michael Johnson, Jim Post, Greg Brown, Priscilla Herdmann, David Wilcox, John Gorka, John Stewart, Cliff Eberhardt, Larry Groce, and Three Dog Night. She was commissioned to write music for Ballet Iowa and Ballet LaCrosse and performed live with both companies. Carol was invited by the former US Ambassador to Cambodia, Kennet Quinn, to perform at the 2010 World Food Prize Laureate Award Ceremony. Past performers at the ceremony include such notables as Ray Charles, John Denver, and Simon Estes. Carol recently won The IndieFEST Film Festival Award of Recognition for her music video titled "Strange Ballet". She was also a finalist, 2015 IMMERSE Artist/Writer Competition - GMA (Gospel Music Assoc.) Carol performs original songs, traditional and contemporary folk, and songs from the Great American Songbook on acoustic guitar and piano.
