There are 18 tables, 8 bar seats and 8 church pew seats available for reservation. The remaining pew seats for this show are not reserved in advance. These seats are available on a first come/first served basis when doors open.
Ticket reservations at The Bluebird Cafe are an agreement to pay the cover charge and applicable taxes/fees and to meet the $15.00 per seat food and/or drink minimum.
Ticket holders may cancel their reservation for a full refund of the ticket price and applicable tax (excluding ticketing fees) if the cancellation is made at least 48 hours before the scheduled showtime. Porter Howell
Porter Howell has helped distinguish country music through his lyrics and trademark guitar work for more than 35 years. As a founding member and lead guitarist of the multi-platinum, GRAMMY-nominated vocal band Little Texas, he developed a signature slide guitar style that defined the sound of a band that carved its niche by writing and performing its own music. For the past 20 years, Howell has been both guitarist and lead vocalist, splitting his time between the road and the writing room. Recognized among Nashville’s elite songwriters, Howell co-wrote several of the band’s biggest hits, including “Kick a Little,” “First Time for Everything,” “My Love,” “What Might Have Been,” and “God Blessed Texas.” As a result, he received the CMA Triple Play Award, which honors country music’s greatest storytellers, for penning three No. 1 singles in a 12-month period.
A prolific songwriter, he also co-wrote the top-five single “If A Promise Ain’t Enough” by Hall & Oates, and has had songs recorded by Trace Adkins, Montgomery Gentry, James Otto and many others. In addition to recording and touring with Little Texas today, the east Texas native continues writing songs and mentoring emerging songwriters. He is also a founding member of hilljack, the indie-country band featuring fellow Nashville songwriters and musicians that brings together a shared history of friendship, songwriting, and a passion for authentic music.
Lauren Howell
Singer-songwriter Lauren Howell blends elements of folk-pop, indie, chamber-pop, and musical theater to create a sound that is both familiar and forward-thinking. Her self-reflective lyrics and conversational storytelling explore themes of heartbreak, nostalgia, and identity with a maturity and perspective that belies her years.
Born in Nashville, TN, Lauren grew up surrounded by music and songwriting. Her parents, Porter Howell and Angela, are both first-generation Nashville transplants who pursued their own paths in music, inspiring Lauren’s lifelong connection to the craft. She learned to sing almost as soon as she learned to talk and developed an early passion for musical theater, leading to starring roles in two high school productions.
After graduating from the American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA) in New York City, Lauren returned to Nashville to pursue a career as a singer-songwriter. Drawing from her background in musical theater and the songwriting influence of her father, she creates music rooted in emotional honesty, thoughtful lyricism, and a unique artistic perspective.
Kimberly Kelly
With a signature style, sound, and spunk all her own, Lorena, Texas native Kimberly Kelly is once again stepping up to the mic with a message, using her voice to shout out a group that deserves a daily standing ovation: hardworking women everywhere just doing their best at doing it all.
Her forthcoming sophomore album Modern Day Woman is an honest, brilliantly relatable, and rousing ode to the balancing act women perform every day to hold everything and everyone together. Produced by her hit songwriter husband Brett Tyler, Modern Day Woman features eight out of ten songs she co-wrote with some of Nashville’s finest, all guaranteed to make you laugh, tear up, or even take a second look at the women in your life through a new lens of awe, love, and gratitude.
Kelly has had many standout moments over the course of her music career: a mentor in the legendary outlaw Billy Joe Shaver, an endorsement by the late Toby Keith, an Opry debut, a spot as one of CMT’s Next Women of Country, and dates with Tracy Lawrence, Clay Walker, and Luke Combs.
Seth Costner
Originally from Gadsden, AL, songwriter/musician Seth Costner has been in Nashville since 2003 when he began attending Belmont University. As a solo artist, Costner released his debut album, From the Ashes, in 2012 and an EP, The Easy Part, in 2016.
Pivoting from an artist to a musician, he has spent time on the road with artists including Lauren Alaina, Luke Combs, Lindsey Ell, and the Swon Brothers, and spent the past eight years as keys player and background vocalist for Chris Young.
As a songwriter, he has had cuts by the Swon Brothers, JessLee, Tasji Bachman, Mary English, Little Feather, and more. He has written with Maggie Baugh, Ty Graham, Porter Howell, Dennis Morgan, Scout Speer, Bobby Tomberlin, and more.
