Artists

Jason Duke

Singer-songwriter Jason Duke, grew up listening to The Eagles, James Taylor, John Prine, Dan Fogelberg and Jackson Browne. When his high school athletics career ended, he fell into a group of musicians that changed the course of his life forever. After graduating high school, Jason, a native of Hendersonville, TN, enrolled at Middle Tennessee State University. It took 6 years, a change of major, a bout with cancer, and a rejection from songwriting class, but he earned his B.S. in Recording Industry Management. While in his 20’s, bartending paid the bills as Jason got his feet wet in the music publishing world. His time spent as a plugger and then a creative director exposed him to catalogs being pitched around town. In 2009, Jason had a unique opportunity to volunteer for Musicians on Call 5 days a week for 3 months as his night job, Hard Rock Cafe, closed down for remodeling. It was during this time that Jason made the decision to move into songwriting. Slowly, steadily, and organically, he began to circle up with writers that he wanted to sign as a publisher. An early champion, Michael Martin, placed Jason in the ASCAP GPS program in 2012. Shortly after, he landed his first publishing deal with Dan Hodges Music in January 2015. Since then, Jason has celebrated his first #1 hit with a song called “Dibs” (Kelsea Ballerini, Ryan Griffin, Josh Kerr, Jason Duke), and a cut called "That Could Still Be Us" on Keith Urban's platinum selling album RipCORD. Jason cowritten “Man Enough Now” (Jason Massey, Jason Duke, and Chris Bandi) has enjoyed 50 million streams on Spotify here in the U.S. He has also celebrated cuts with Australian stars, Missy Lancaster, The Wolfe Brothers, and recently celebrated his first Australian #1 with Travis Collins’ “High Horse”. Jason currently writes for BMG Nashville.

Among his many accomplishments, Massey co-produced Kelsea Ballerini’s debut album, The First Time, in 2015 and recently co-produced her second full length album Unapologetically, including the lead single “Legends.”Other recent projects include producing/co-writing on Hannah Ellis’ debut EP, as well as Chris Bandi’s breakout “Man Enough Now,” and co-producing/co-writing Waterloo Revival’s “What Guy Wouldn’t.”Previously, the California native played drums and guitar in a number of bands and saw his music placed in mainstream television shows.

Rogers has written for some of country music’s premier superstars, topping the charts with Randy Houser’s “We Went,” and the platinum-certified ballad from Brett Eldredge, “The Long Way.” Presently, he is at radio with the Jimmie Allen single, “Freedom Was a Highway,” which features Brad Paisley, as well as Cody Johnson’s “Til You Can’t.”

Since moving from Northeastern Pennsylvania to Nashville in 2006, Rogers has built a catalog of songs that’ve been recorded by Luke Bryan, Dustin Lynch, Justin Moore, Chris Young, Dylan Scott, Matt Stell, Gary Allan, Mitchell Tenpenny, Lainey Wilson & Rodney Atkins. In addition, he’s landed three Number 1 singles on Canadian Country radio, one of which (“Drink About Me” by Brett Kissel) being JUNO nominated for Single of the Year.
