JP Williams

Blind since age 10, he brings a unique, seasoned perspective to every opportunity. Whether it’s one-on-one coaching, a music gig on a notable stage, a songwriting workshop on a university campus, or keynote speech at a national conference, JP has an innate gift for connecting with audiences through humor and music to share wisdom and inspiration.

JP has performed on the Grand Ole Opry (a stunning solo acoustic performance of his song entitled “The Grand Ole Opry” cowritten with Bobby Tomberlin), as well as countless other notable stages throughout his career in the music industry.

Jay Brunswick

Jay Brunswick is a singer, songwriter, producer with over 150 accredited major and independent label cuts on his songwriting resume. Some of country music’s hottest artist have tapped Brunswick’s catalog including the Brantley Gilbert hit “Hard Days” and Reba McEntire’s “Freedom”. He has three Canadian Chart Toppers with Matt Langs “Water Down The Whiskey”, Jason Blaines “Born To Love” and David James “What We Weren’t Looking For” while also garnering 2 Texas Regional Radio #1’s “”Too Much Texas” and “Keep Up With A Cowgirl” recorded by David Adam Byrnes. Brunswick songs can also be found on albums from Parmalee, Chris Janson, Granger Smith, Colt Ford, Josh Thompson, Clay Walker, Daryl Worley, and pop icon Russell Hitchcock, from pop supergroup Air Supply, amongst many others.

Galen Griffin

In the early nineties, shortly after being awarded the designation as finalist in his high school state singing competition, Galen explains, “I went to my mom and I told her this is what I want to do for the rest of my life.”

It was only a few years later that Galen opened concerts for Tracy Lawrence and Tracy Byrd in the spring of ’96. The 22 year old amazed fans at both concerts with his dynamic stage presence and natural ability to entertain the guys and swoon the girls. Not long after, Galen received unprecedented audience reaction when his song, “Good Girls Love Bad Boys” was played on the “G. Gordon Liddy” radio show to an audience of millions.

Galen hit the road. For the next several years, he averaged over 200 performances per year, opening for many of the biggest names in country music, including Joe Diffie, “Ricochet,” Michael Peterson, Montgomery Gentry, Trick Pony, Darrell Worley, John Conley, Johnny Paycheck, Rhett Atkins and Merle Haggard, and too many more to mention!!

Galen was the 1st artist to pay tribute to George Jones, with THE JONES BOYS, AND Randy Travis with THE RANDY TRAVIS BAND!!!!

From here, Galen’s path to stardom only gleams brighter: Galen is steadily becoming one of Nashville’s top songwriters, with songs cut by major label acts including , Clay Walker, Luke Bryan, Larry Cordle, Joe Diffe, Matt Jenkins and Craig Morgan who included Galen’s song,
“I’m Country” on his My Kinda Livin’ CD (2005) which garnered Galen a GOLD Record and another GOLD record for Luke Bryan’s first album!!!!

Galen continues to write daily with several of Nashville’s elite artists, producers and writers; Chris Dubois, Don Sampson, Kerry Kurt Phillips, Bob Regan, Byron Hill, Doug Johnson,Buddy Owens, just to name a few.

Galen has celebrated 2 top ten hits, “Country Man” for Luke Bryan and “She Won’t Be Lonely Long” for Clay Walker Galen was managed by one of the biggest managers “in the world of
music” the late Frank Dileo, who managed Micheal Jackson, during the “Thriller” and “Bad” albums years.

Galen is content, writing songs, and watching other artists sing his songs from the side of the stage, but in 2017 he accomplished his #1 goal, by being a guest of his dear friend Joe Diffie and joining him to sing on the stage of the Grand Ole Opry!!!

Jason Cox

Jason Cox is a staff writer at Daywind Music. He’s won 3 Dove Awards and was named BMI’s Songwriter of the Year in 2022.

Lee Brice

Ten years after the release of his first album, music listeners likely think they have a good idea about who Lee Brice is, based on his eight #1 singles and his seven CMA Award nominations.

He is, one might argue, a sensitive country roughneck, the guy who embraces the power of long-lasting relationships in “Love Like Crazy,” “A Woman Like You” and “I Don’t Dance.” He’s the guy who makes his audiences cry every time he memorializes people who sacrificed their lives on our behalf in “I Drive Your Truck.”

But with his 2020 album Hey World, people are likely hearing Brice differently. Singing next to smoky vocalist Carly Pearce on the #1 single “I Hope You’re Happy Now,” the power and range in his voice comes in loud and clear. In the follow-up #1, “One Of Them Girls,” he attacks the subject matter with bite and swagger. It’s still sensitive, but it’s imbued with an undeniable playfulness and a commanding drive.

Throughout Hey World, listeners experience a fully-formed version of Lee Brice, through the twangy power-pop of “Good Ol’ Boys,” the old-school R&B behind “Don’t Need No Reason,” the bluesy sexual tone of “Do Not Disturb,” the new wave tech flavor of “Soul,” the dark and dangerous “Sons And Daughters” and the honky-tonk middle finger in “If You.”

Those textures have always been there in one form or another – his celebratory #1 “Drinking Class” and the alt-rock undercurrent in the chart-topping “Hard To Love” bear that out – but Hey World is the deepest, widest and most complete exploration to date of Brice’s unbound creative spirit.
